Round chair and seat cushion made of cowhide leather in brown, black & cognac – made to order.

Leather you can see and feel: the deep, bold grain and natural creases make every chair cushion one of a kind. The raw cut edge shows the full thickness of the leather, while the felt underneath adds a fine line of colour. Firmly padded and gently domed, the round leather cushion suits your round chair just as well as a round stool.

The leather: cow neck leather from southern Germany

For the top we use heavy leather, approx. 3.5 mm thick, cut from the neck of the hide. It comes from a family-run tannery that has been making leather since 1888 – regional and sustainable, from the raw hides to the tanning agents. A special milling process brings out the leather's pronounced grain and makes it pleasantly soft and supple. This sturdy, vegetable-tanned leather gains character with every use, develops a patina and darkens over time.

Padding and underside

Beneath the leather sits a 20 mm foam pad – firm, stable in shape and long-lasting. The underside is made of 3 mm wool felt (100 % virgin wool, made in Germany), available in 19 colours to match your furniture. For smooth seats, the underside is optionally available with a natural latex non-slip coating.

The seat cushions are made to your specifications in colour, size and underside. As custom-made items, they are therefore excluded from exchange and return.
